An AI loan processor does the processing work on a mortgage file: builds the package, verifies the documents, pre-underwrites, submits to the lender, and works the conditions that come back. How much of that a given product does varies, so ask.
What work can it take on?
Ask which of these jobs the product finishes and which come back to your team.
- Build the file: which documents the loan needs and who owes each one.
- Read each document and check that it is usable, not just count the upload.
- Pre-underwrite the file and get the documents for problems underwriting would find.
- Submit the file to the lender and record what happened.
- Work each condition that comes back, from the request through resubmission.
- Chase title, insurance, employers, payoff departments and HOAs, not only the borrower.
- Keep the LOS current and leave a record of what it did.
- Send anything that needs judgment to your processor.
What does Loandock do?
Loandock is an AI mortgage processor. Clara can start at pre-approval and work the file through clear-to-close. She collects and checks documents, runs pre-underwrite checks, submits the file, and works the conditions that return. Your underwriter clears them.
Does it require another system for the team?
Check where accepted documents and condition statuses land after the software finishes.
Clara works inside your LOS and the lender portals your team already uses. Your admin issues the access, and your LOS stays the system of record.
What happens when a document is wrong?
Send in a wrong document. It should get caught, go back to the sender with what to fix, and stay open.
Clara does not file a document that does not do the job. She asks the sender again with the reason and keeps the request open. Anything that needs judgment goes to your processor’s list with the documents.
What remains with your team?
Your processors handle the judgment calls, your admin controls access, and your underwriter clears each condition. AUS and lender policy stay authoritative. Loandock does not make credit decisions or place phone calls.
The first walkthrough uses a demo file, so you do not need to send borrower documents.

Our document-collection guide follows a wrong-pay-period response on one redacted live file, from the correction request to the accepted document being filed.
